- Agentous builds a profile for every active real estate agent in Canada using public-record transaction data from MLS boards and provincial land registries. Your profile reflects your professional record. Claiming it lets you customize it, respond to inquiries, and engage with the consumers who find you.
- Can I pay to rank higher?
- No. Never. Subscription tier has zero effect on ranking position. Rankings are determined entirely by verified transaction data — volume, list-to-sale ratio, days on market, consistency. This is the entire reason consumers trust Agentous, and we will not compromise it.
- What if a transaction in my history is incorrect or missing?
- Verified subscribers can submit a dispute through their profile dashboard. Our team reviews every dispute against original MLS records and land-registry filings, typically within five business days. Verified Pro subscribers receive priority review.
- What happens if I don't claim my profile?
- Your profile remains visible with your verified transaction data, but you cannot respond to inquiries, customize your story, or be notified when a consumer reaches out. Consumers who contact unclaimed profiles are routed to the next-best-fit verified agent in their area.
- How is this different from Zillow Premier Agent or HomeStars?
- On those platforms, agents pay for placement and visibility. On Agentous, agents pay for the ability to engage — not for rank. Your position in the rankings is determined by what you've actually done, not by what you've spent.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. You can cancel from your dashboard at any time. Annual subscriptions are prorated and the unused portion refunded for the first 30 days; after that, your subscription continues until the end of the billed period.
- Do I need to be on Verified Pro to get inquiries?
- No. Both Verified and Verified Pro receive direct client inquiries. Verified Pro adds multi-city coverage, team logins, deeper analytics, and quarterly market reports.
- How does verification work?
- We verify your identity through your brokerage email, your provincial real estate licence number (RECO, OACIQ, RECA, RECBC, etc.), and a brief video confirmation. Verification typically completes within one business day.
